Full Time English Program - L3
Course Description
Morning Course: This course will prepare you to enter the intermediate language proficiency level: this means that you will be able to use the basic language skills you learned in at the beginners level courses and extend that knowledge and usage to more complicated settings. You will learn how to learn and practice increasingly more complicated topics, and will be expected to use your communications skills inside and especially outside the class with native speakers.
Afternoon Course: This course is for Intermediate level students who want to practice and solidify their listening and speaking skills. As an Intermediate student, you are still developing the foundations of your knowledge of English. This course will give you more opportunities to talk and practice conversational English at your proficiency level. Your teacher will give you a lot of exercises that focus on a theme, so that you can develop more effective speaking and listening skills. You will work in groups, discuss different real-life topics and express and share your opinion and your culture's perspective about the topics. The purpose of the course is to broaden your knowledge and use of speaking and listening abilities in real-life contexts, and to help you understand some cultural aspects of North American society.

I would start this text talking about Vancouver firstand then about GEOS vancouver. It has been a special month and I have met a lot of new people. Also I have known beautiful places and I have improved my English too. My classes were good, I have been with very friendly classmates and I will never forget this experience and the activities I did were so fun. I'll continue studying English and I hope to come back to vancouver again. The places are wounderful and the homestay was fantastic, my family was really friendly. I'll miss all of this when I come back to Spain. Alejandro Andres Ruiz Spain/Madrid |
